Automatic shutdown for hörbert - for retro-fitting!
With this additional electronics, every hörbert can be switched off after an adjustable time. In addition, it offers adjustable protection for your batteries against deep discharge.
If you wish that your hörbert switches itself off automatically after a certain time, this additional piece of electronics allows you to switch off after approx. 15, 30, 60, 90 and 120 minutes. The electronics replaces the existing on/off switch.
Can I upgrade the automatic shutdown myself? Yes, with a bit of manual dexterity you can convert your Hörbert yourself. Please have a look at the video tutorial and estimate if you can do the conversion yourself at home.
Can I have the automatic switch-off installed by WINZKI in our hörbert? Yes! we also offer hörbert owners the opportunity to retrofit their hörbert in our workshop. Just order the upgrade of your used hörbert with an automatic shutdown. Then send us your hörbert after ordering and payment and attach your order number and your name inside your sufficiently franked parcel.
Can I order hörbert with automatic shutdown pre-installed? Yes, if you order one hörbert and the electronics in the same shopping cart. We will then install the additional electronics directly into your ordered device. We do not charge the working time, but we keep the original switch.
If you do not want us to install the system, please inform us quickly by email to firstname.lastname@example.org stating your order number.
Notice: The automatic switch-off changes the behaviour of hörberts on/off state and on empty batteries!
- Changing the function and display of the on/off toggle switch:
Without automatic shutdown, hörbert always plays when the toggle switch is in the ON position, i. e. tilted forwards. With the automatic switch-off, hörbert can switch off even though his toggle switch is in the ON position.
Please explain to your child that, after automatic shutdown, he will not play again until the rocker switch is switched off and then on again.
- Change of behaviour when batteries or rechargeable batteries become empty:
Without this additional electronics, hörbert becomes quieter and "croaks" when the batteries or rechargeable batteries run out. This indicates that it is time to change the battery/rechargeable batteries. This will continue until the batteries no longer supply electricity.
The additional electronics interrupts the current song when the batteries or rechargeable batteries are empty and restarts it from the beginning. This behavior repeats itself in ever shorter intervals, so you can quickly find out that the batteries are empty. Then simply insert 4 new batteries or 4 full batteries.
